Whatever she’s doing, be it music or movement, Alyssa Click strives to bring joy into it all. As a New York City-based performer and educator, Alyssa has been a part of numerous collaborations. This February, she made her GreenRoom 42 debut singing “The Girl in 14G” alongside her fellow singing yoga teachers in cabaret. Always a proponent for new music, she has also been a part of the workshop developments of House of Eerie Figures as Imelda, the deceased opera singer, written and conducted by Danny Decker. Most recently, Alyssa has joined the faculty at Wagner College as the newest Adjunct Professor of Voice where she is thrilled to be sharing her knowledge of music across an array of different styles starting in the Spring 2024 semester.

Alyssa has been teaching voice since 2015. Currently, she is an adjunct Professor of Voice at Wagner College. Some of her favorite memories as a  Music Director and Chorus Master was for the Pierce School production of The Little Mermaid, Jr. (2019) as well as the Music Director and Conductor for their production of The Music Man Jr. (2019).

Skills taught include: vocal technique, repertoire, musicianship, sight-reading, audition preparation, role preparation, and an emphasis on an overall healthy style of vocalization in any genre. Alyssa teaches mainly musical theatre and classical repertoire.

“Alyssa is an upbeat, encouraging, and patient teacher. Her own singing voice is beautiful, and she sings very professionally in a wide range of genres. She is reliable, pleasant, sincere, and capable. She gives each student her full attention and tailors her lessons to each one’s particular talent (as well as where they’re in need of improvement). I recommend Alyssa very highly. She’s delightful!”
